Health Awareness Activities for Patients and the Community
As part of our responsibility towards the community in promoting healthand raising health awareness, we plan and conduct numerous health awarenessactivities each year.
Our campaigns address a variety of important topics related to thehealth of individuals and the community, such as diabetes, kidney health, WorldHealth Day, and more.
The criteria for selecting awareness topics annually include:
Community needs assessments, identified through surveys published on the hospitalwebsite every November.
Requirements from the Ministry of Health and international campaigns such as World HealthDays.
Internal requests from certain hospital departments (under-utilized departments).
Community partnerships with external organizations, including government agencies,schools, and universities, to provide health awareness for their employees.Examples include awareness visits to multiple schools throughout the yearcovering various health topics, visiting the Makkah Al-Mukaramah Municipalityto hold an awareness day for employees, and participating in the “The World Umrah” event in cooperation with the Abdulqader Almuhaidib Foundation forCommunity Service.
