The World Breast Cancer Day event is held with the aim of raising health awareness about breast cancer, as it is one of the most common types of cancer among women. The event aims to educate the community about the importance of early detection due to its significant role in increasing recovery rates, correcting misconceptions related to the disease, and encouraging women to take care of their health and undergo regular screenings.

These events contribute to delivering health messages to a wide segment of the community outside the clinical setting, which enhances health awareness and increases the chances of detecting the disease at its early stages.

Fakeeh Medical Center – Al Bastateen organized the World Breast Cancer Day event on October 13, during which a number of physicians participated in providing consultations and health education to visitors. This contributed to enhancing health awareness and delivering medical education to the community. The center also offered a free visit to the Family Medicine Clinic during the event.
