The World Diabetes Day event was conducted with the aim of raising awareness about diabetes and emphasizing the importance of prevention, early detection, adherence to treatment, and adopting a healthy lifestyle.

Fakeeh Medical Center – Al Basateen organized the World Diabetes Day event on November 15, 2025, at Mall of Arabia. The event included educational booths, blood glucose level screenings, and medical and health guidance on healthy nutrition and physical activity. It also provided education on the correct use of medications and blood glucose monitoring devices. In addition, the event featured sports and recreational activities, along with answering visitors’ inquiries.

The event aimed to highlight the importance of early diabetes detection, empower individuals to effectively manage their blood glucose levels, improve their quality of life, and reduce diabetes-related complications.

Several departments from the medical center participated in this event, which enhanced audience engagement and maximized the overall impact of the activities.
