
The Patient and Community Education Department at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital – Madinah was established after the hospital began operations on 27 April 2025. The Patient & Family Education Department officially started its services in May 2025.
The department provides a structured, person-centered learning process delivered by trained health professionals, designed to support individuals and their family living with various health conditions in self-managing their health. Patients are encouraged to draw on their own resources, with guidance and support from their caregivers and families. Patient education is considered an integral part of treatment, contributing to better health outcomes, improved quality of life, and optimal use of healthcare services and other resources.
In line with our community responsibility, the department is committed to activating diverse health awareness initiatives tailored to the needs of the community.
