The Back to School Event is an important occasion to emphasize the significance of health preparedness for the start of a safe academic year, by promoting awareness of students’ physical, mental, and preventive health among students and their families.

The event aims to instill positive health behaviors in students, such as maintaining personal hygiene, following a healthy diet, and engaging in physical activity, all of which have a positive impact on academic performance and overall quality of life.

It also highlights the pivotal role of families and schools in providing a healthy and safe educational environment, supporting students’ mental well-being, and helping to reduce the anxiety associated with returning to school.

This occasion serves as an opportunity to strengthen partnerships between the healthcare and education sectors and families, to spread a culture of prevention and build an informed generation that enjoys better health and a greater ability to learn and succeed.

Within this framework, Fakeeh Medical Center – Al-Basateen organized an educational event titled “Back to School” at Mall of Arabia on August 16, with the aim of providing awareness information to students and their parents regarding required medical examinations and mandatory vaccinations at the beginning of the academic year.

The event included several awareness booths and recreational activities, in addition to the participation of a distinguished group of physicians from various specialties, clinical dietitians, and health education specialists, as part of the center’s efforts to enhance health awareness and readiness for a new academic year.
