Diabetes is one of the most prevalent health conditions among both adults and children, globally and locally. In line with Fakeeh Healthcare Group’s commitment to raising health awareness in the community, an annual diabetes awareness campaign is held in November, coinciding with World Diabetes Day.

Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital – Jeddah organized the Diabetes Awareness Day on November 14–15 at Mall of Arabia, Jeddah, aiming to provide educational information about diabetes, conduct blood sugar measurements, and emphasize the importance of early detection and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to prevent and manage the disease.

These health services were provided by several hospital departments, including:

• Pediatric Endocrinology
• Adult Endocrinology
• Health Education Department
• Ophthalmology
• Nutrition Department
• Nursing Department

In addition, the event included entertaining and physical activities for children and visitors, such as riding a stationary bike and a coloring corner for children.

The campaign was held under the slogan "Control Your Sugar", aiming to raise community awareness and encourage attention to health and prevention of disease complications.

Visitors expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to Fakih Healthcare Group for their efforts in raising community awareness, emphasizing their complete satisfaction with the services and initiatives provided, according to the survey results collected after their visit to the campaign.
