Diabetes is one of the most prevalent health conditions among both adultsand children, globally and locally. In line with Fakeeh Healthcare Group’scommitment to raising health awareness in the community, an annual diabetesawareness campaign is held in November, coinciding with World Diabetes Day.

Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital – Jeddah organized the DiabetesAwareness Day on November 14–15 at Mall of Arabia, Jeddah, aiming toprovide educational information about diabetes, conduct blood sugarmeasurements, and emphasize the importance of early detection andmaintaining a healthy lifestyle to prevent and manage the disease.

These health services were provided by several hospital departments, including:

• Pediatric Endocrinology
• Adult Endocrinology
• Health Education Department
• Ophthalmology
• Nutrition Department
• Nursing Department

In addition, the event included entertaining and physical activities forchildren and visitors, such as riding a stationary bike and a coloring cornerfor children.

The campaign was held under the slogan "Control Your Sugar",aiming to raise community awareness and encourage attention to health andprevention of disease complications.

Visitors expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to FakihHealthcare Group for their efforts in raising community awareness, emphasizingtheir complete satisfaction with the services and initiatives provided,according to the survey results collected after their visit to the campaign.
