Starting by Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital’s commitment to promoting health awareness and its continuous efforts to foster a culture of prevention within the community, the annual awareness campaign titled “Health in Ramadan” is organized prior to the holy month of Ramadan.

The campaign aims to educate the community on the importance of maintaining good health during the blessed month. Particular emphasis has traditionally been placed on supporting patients with diabetes and guiding them on proper nutrition and medication management during fasting. Beginning last year, the campaign expanded its scope to include awareness of a broader range of health conditions, including superficial burns and the appropriate ways to manage them.

This year, in addition to providing comprehensive health information, a special segment was dedicated to offering health tips related to Hajj and Umrah, with the goal of promoting safety and well-being while performing the rituals.

The campaign was held over two days, from February 16 to 17, 2026, and witnessed notable engagement from visitors. Health education specialists and Family Medicine physicians, and volunteer medical students from Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences, provided valuable guidance and information with professionalism and dedication.
