The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Ministry of Health are well known for their continuous and dedicated efforts throughout the year in overseeing the organizational and health aspects of the seasons. This commitment becomes even more evident during peak seasons, alongside their efforts to provide seasonal employment opportunities for young men and women.

In line with this, the Seasonal Employment Forum for Hajj and Umrah is held annually. This year, the forum took place at Umm Al-Qura University – Al-Abdiyyah Branch in Makkah. Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital was invited to participate as the official medical sponsor of the event.

The hospital’s participation was represented through a Physical Assessment Station, where educational information was provided on chronic diseases and the most common health conditions during such seasons—such as heatstroke—including prevention methods and proper first aid measures. The participation also included blood pressure screening, blood glucose testing, and Body Mass Index (BMI) measurement.

The hospital’s services received significant engagement from visitors. The Health Education and Nursing Departments delivered the information and screenings, and special thanks go to the Marketing Department for their efforts in organizing and coordinating the hospital’s participation.
