The Kidney Awareness Campaign was organized to educate the community about the importance of kidney health and the prevention of kidney-related diseases. The campaign highlighted the role of a balanced diet, regular medical check-ups, proper hydration, and early detection of kidney problems. It also emphasized the impact of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension on kidney function and encouraged lifestyle changes that support long-term health.

The event took place on March at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital – Jeddah. Several departments collaborated to make the campaign a success, including the Patient and Community Education, RDU Department, Nutrition, and Marketing departments. Educational booths, health consultations, and interactive activities were offered to engage participants and enhance their understanding of kidney health. The event was attended by 167 community members, reflecting strong community interest and a positive response to the hospital’s ongoing health awareness initiatives.
