As part of Fakeeh Healthcare Group’s commitment to enhancing community awareness about various health conditions, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah conducted an educational campaign on colorectal cancer, a type of cancer that affects the large intestine, where cancerous cells begin to grow.

The campaign, titled “Your Health in Colorectal Cancer”, aimed to raise awareness about early detection and emphasize the importance of maintaining good health to prevent or manage this type of cancer.

The campaign took place on April 19, organized by the Endoscopy Department led by Dr. Ammar Al-Dabbagh, in collaboration with the Health Education Department, and with the participation of students from Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences.

The event included an awareness booth, distribution of educational materials, and answering visitors’ questions regarding risk factors, prevention methods, and the importance of regular screening.
