As part of Fakeeh Healthcare Group’scommitment to enhancing community awareness about various health conditions,Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah conducted an educational campaign on colorectalcancer, a type of cancer that affects the large intestine, where cancerouscells begin to grow.

The campaign, titled “Your Healthin Colorectal Cancer”, aimed to raise awareness about early detection andemphasize the importance of maintaining good health to prevent or manage thistype of cancer.

The campaign took place on April19, organized by the Endoscopy Department led by Dr. Ammar Al-Dabbagh,in collaboration with the Health Education Department, and with theparticipation of students from Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences.

The event included an awarenessbooth, distribution of educational materials, and answering visitors’ questionsregarding risk factors, prevention methods, and the importance of regularscreening.
