Description
To carry out routine maintenance, service and repair requests associated with the AC system as requested by his supervisory staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of window A/C and all type of split AC
- Roof mounted Chillers and associated compressor status and correct periodic preventive maintenance.
- Air Handling Units primary and secondary filter monitoring inclined manometer maintenance.
- Chilled water pumps plant maintenance and operation
- FCU, Fan coil unit maintenance for all areas, with special attention to patient rooms.
- Replacing filters, filter bags, oils and refrigerant.
- Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.
- Inspects HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance.
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems.
- Any emergency and urgent matter must take immediate action.
- Maintaining all the push button and manual operation in good condition..
- Maintain good operation of all building elevators for emergency power supply and intercom.
- Should make technical report for all maintenance problems.
- Report first to maintenance head for any troubleshooting for all building elevators.
- Should endorse to outside company if there are any technical problems required to fix.
- Perform troubleshooting to all required equipment and machines which Is related to his job.
- Follow the instructions given by the Senior HVAC Technician which is ordered by the Mechanical Systems Unit Manager.
- Maintains maintenance department tools.
- Maintains safe working practice codes.
Qualifications
- SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
- Trade Certificate in Air-Conditioning ventilation.
- Minimum 2 years as HVAC Technician.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and controls.
- Skill in performing routine manual labor.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade.
- Ability to learn through observation and hands on experience.
- Ability to follow routine vertical and written instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers.
